Hace seis años y a partir de una casualidad, hice mi primer viaje en dos ruedas por las costa californiana. La bicicleta se convirtió en un estilo de vida; cambió mi rutina y la manera de transportarme. Eso fue solamente el principio de muchos viajes, incluso algunos que no han llegado.
He realizado más de 5 viajes largos en bicicleta de más de 2,000 km. Entre mis travesías están: California (2012), Europa Central (2014), Eurasia (2017) y varios más dentro de México.
Al adentrarme en nuevos pueblos y culturas, tomé la fotografía como bitácora visual. El biciviaje se volvió parte importante de mi temática, pero con el tiempo empecé a explorar otros caminos tales como la fotografía urbana, arquitectónica, de paisaje y el retrato. Ahí nacieron estos relatos y fotografías que finalmente se juntan en esta plataforma, que algún día se convertirá en libro.

Las aventuras van y las locaciones vienen, la mayoría han llegado de manera repentina y sin años de planificación, así que mientras lees esto probablemente esté del otro lado del planeta o bien haciendo tiempo para empezar una nueva ruta. Algunos ya me dicen trotamundos, pero yo no me la creo, aún falta mucho por conquistar en la vida.

Six years ago I made my first trip on two wheels on the California Coast. The bicycle became a lifestyle; it changed my routine and the way i move from one place to another. That was only the beginning of many trips, including some that have not happened yet.
I’ve made more than five long bike trips… > 2,000 km. Some of my journeys are: California (2012), Central Europe(2014), Eurasia (2017) and several more in Mexico.
As I got with new people and cultures, i took the photography as a visual diary. Bike touring became an important part of my subject, but after that I began to explore other variants such as urban, architecture, landscape and portrait photography. There were born these stories and photographies that finally come together in this project, that hopefully one day will become a book.

The adventures happen, most of them have come suddenly and without years of planning, so as you read this, i’m probably on the other side of the planet or waiting to start a new route at home. Some people call me a globetrotter, but I still don’t believe it, there is so much to be conquered in life.
